About Metropole Home
The Metropole Home gallery is a curated selection of furniture, accessories & artwork ranging in several distinct styles. Every piece of furniture has been carefully selected and represents the latest trends in furniture and design. The name, “Metropole” holds historical significance in Napoleon, Ohio and Henry County. The Metropole was a dance club and eating establishment that attracted people all across Northwest Ohio, and is also the current location of George’s Furniture. When visiting George’s Furniture you will find design elements that tie directly to this great time in our local history. The kitchen area (our offices), bar (in the main show room), and cooler (dining gallery) are still part of the store’s design today. The band stage is currently the entrance into the Metropole Home Gallery.
Farmhouse and Rustic (F&R)
What could be a better fit for mid-west living than farmhouse and rustic styling. Farmhouse & Rustic also dovetails well with other styles, which allow you to create a fun and eclectic look. Heavy texture and a mix of soothing white and dark painted finishes, along with neutral wood tones provide both depth and scale to this style.
Vintage & Industrial (V&I)
From worn and weathered, to reclamation-styles from our past, Vintage & Industrial is part of what defines the Rustbelt Midwest. Influences favor mixed materials, including a combination of metal, wood and occasionally repurposed pieces. V&I is an excellent way to bridge and mix a variety of styles.
Urban & Modern (U&M)
Every generation will innovate and push the edge of defining a style or movement. Urban & Modern represents the evolution of such a style. It continually moves in a direction set by designers, artists and other contemporaries who are looking to create a whole new look. U&M is currently accentuated by clean lines, a variety of color and texture, and smaller-scaled design.
Casual & Transitional (C&T)
If there was a style that rarely grows old or tired, it would be Casual & Transitional. It communicates both comfort and flexibility, and provides the ultimate connection between mixing different themes and styles. Casual lends itself to lighter, and more airy textures and colors, while transitional can cover a huge array of options, making it an easy choice for finding one piece to easily pair with other existing decor.
